Opportunity to liaise with auditors and improve systems **Date:** 2 Mar 2026 **Location:** KW **Company:** Alghanim Industries Long Description Job Summary The Senior Accounting Supervisor will oversee a team of accountants responsible for the preparation of the financial records for the business ensuring accurate accounting records and compliance with company policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities * Close monthly books of accounts and prepare various accounting and Financial statements as per central accounts schedule. * Periodically review and scrutinize trial balance and ensure accuracy by checking entries and postings. * Prepare periodical reports and provide to central accounts and corporate planning in time. * Supervise reconciliation of Banks statements, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables, Inventory, etc. * Ensure compliance with established company policies and procedures (eg. expenses, provisions, etc.). * Liaise with external and internal auditors. * Coordinate implementation of accounting and control procedures. * Coordinate with IT in improving, enhancing system capabilities. * Plan and schedule work of clerical staff, accountants and senior accountants. Candidate Requirements * A graduate in Accounting, Finance or Commerce with deep understanding of accounting and financial principles. * A professional accounting qualification preferred (CA/CPA/ICMA) * A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an Accounting function, preferably in a multinational environment. * An organized approach with proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Developed leadership skills able to supervise a team of 3\-5 accounting staff * Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage * Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Access and working knowledge of PowerPoint. * Knowledge of ERP and Databases Education
