Job Summary:
A Software Product Manager is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, roadmap, and successful delivery of software products. The role works closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and business teams to develop products that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis.
Gather, prioritize, and manage product requirements and user feedback.
Create product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
Work closely with software engineers, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
Prioritize features and manage the product backlog based on customer and business value.
Coordinate product development from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
Establish product goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
Monitor product performance, customer adoption, and user satisfaction.
Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for new features or products.
Coordinate product testing, releases, launches, and post\-launch improvements.
Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders and senior management.
Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, and competing priorities.
Ensure the product remains aligned with business strategy, customer requirements, and technical capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in software product management, project management, business analysis, or a related role.
Understanding of software development processes, Agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
Strong knowledge of customer research, product analytics, and market analysis.
Excellent communication, leadership, prioritization, and problem\-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with technical and non\-technical teams.
Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, or similar platforms is an advantage.
