Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, and disaster recovery planning Position Overview Seccion Txh is seeking an experienced and strategic Information Systems Director to lead the organization’s information technology and systems operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that technology infrastructure, business systems, cybersecurity, and IT services effectively support the organization’s day\-to\-day operations and long\-term objectives. This is a senior leadership position requiring a combination of technical knowledge, strategic planning, people management, and business awareness. The Information Systems Director will work closely with senior management and internal departments to identify technology needs, improve operational efficiency, manage IT resources, and ensure the reliability and security of the organization’s information systems. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement the organization’s IT and information systems strategy in alignment with business objectives. * Oversee day\-to\-day IT operations, infrastructure, systems, networks, applications, and technical support. * Lead, manage, and develop IT staff and external technology service providers. * Evaluate existing systems and recommend upgrades, replacements, or new technologies where appropriate. * Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and operational controls. * Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, backup procedures, and disaster recovery planning. * Manage IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. * Prepare and manage the IT department budget and monitor technology\-related expenditures. * Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers. * Ensure systems remain reliable, secure, scalable, and available to support business operations. * Monitor emerging technologies and identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement. * Provide senior management with regular reports regarding IT performance, risks, projects, and technology requirements. * Ensure appropriate documentation, asset management, licensing, and lifecycle management of IT resources. * Promote a culture of continuous improvement, information security, and effective use of technology throughout the organization. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in **Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field**. * **8\+ years of progressive experience in IT or information systems**, including significant experience in a management or leadership position. * Demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure, business applications, networks, and technology operations. * Experience leading and developing technical teams. * Strong understanding of **cybersecurity, information security, data protection, and business continuity**. * Experience with IT budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and technology contracts. * Strong project management and organizational skills. * Ability to develop and execute IT strategies that support business objectives. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, decision\-making, and communication skills. * Ability to communicate technical matters effectively to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Strong knowledge of current enterprise technologies, cloud services, networking, systems administration, and IT service management. Preferred Qualifications * Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline. * Professional certification such as **ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent**. * Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. * Experience implementing or managing enterprise systems, ERP, CRM, or other business applications. * Experience with IT governance, risk management, compliance, or cybersecurity frameworks. * Previous experience working in Kuwait or the broader GCC region. * Professional proficiency in **English**; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
