Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Junior System Administrator **GGWP Host** Kuwait City, Kuwait Sharq, Block 1 **Salary: KWD 860 / month** Job Description GGWP Host is seeking a motivated and technically capable **Junior System Administrator** to support the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of company IT systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will work with senior IT staff to ensure systems, servers, networks, and user accounts operate efficiently and securely. Responsibilities * Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, computers, and IT systems. * Monitor system performance, availability, and basic security alerts. * Provide technical support for operating systems, applications, and user accounts. * Create, modify, and manage user accounts and access permissions. * Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. * Assist with server updates, patches, backups, and routine maintenance. * Monitor backup processes and report failures or irregularities. * Maintain IT asset inventories and system documentation. * Assist with network configuration and basic connectivity troubleshooting. * Support cybersecurity procedures and access\-control policies. * Escalate complex technical issues to senior administrators or specialized teams. * Maintain records of incidents, changes, and technical activities. * Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects. * Stay updated on IT technologies, security practices, and system\-administration tools. Qualifications * Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. * Previous internship, technical support, or junior IT administration experience is preferred. * Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. * Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, networking, and basic troubleshooting. * Familiarity with Active Directory, virtualization, cloud platforms, or server administration is an advantage. * Basic knowledge of backup and data\-recovery procedures. * Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and access management. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Good attention to detail and documentation skills. * Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with senior IT professionals. * Good communication and teamwork abilities.
