Job Summary:
An Aviation Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects related to airports, aviation facilities, runways, airfield infrastructure, and aviation systems. The role ensures projects meet technical, safety, quality, budget, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage aviation engineering and infrastructure projects from design through completion.
Coordinate with architects, civil, electrical, mechanical, and aviation engineering teams.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, technical specifications, and progress reports.
Review engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and construction documents.
Oversee construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards, building codes, and applicable regulations.
Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, risks, and potential delays.
Coordinate with airport authorities, contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Monitor project costs, resources, schedules, quality, and contractor performance.
Implement quality\-control and safety procedures throughout project execution.
Resolve engineering problems and recommend cost\-effective technical solutions.
Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for management and clients.
Support airport expansion, runway improvement, terminal development, and aviation infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in aviation, airport infrastructure, construction, or engineering project management.
Knowledge of airport planning, airfield infrastructure, and aviation safety standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, or similar engineering/project\-management software.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and risk management.
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem\-solving skills.
Professional engineering license or relevant aviation certification is an advantage.
Pay: KD1,150\.000 per month
