Support security during emergencies and conduct system checks CCTV Operator – Job DescriptionJob Summary Responsible for monitoring CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of company premises, employees, visitors, and assets. The role includes identifying incidents, reporting security concerns, maintaining records, and ensuring CCTV systems operate effectively. Key Responsibilities * Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage and identify suspicious or unusual activity. * Report theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, safety concerns, and security incidents. * Escalate incidents and support the Security/Safety Team during emergencies. * Conduct routine checks of CCTV cameras and report faults, blind spots, or system issues. * Maintain daily monitoring logs, incident reports, and shift handover records. * Retrieve and securely preserve CCTV footage for investigations when required. * Maintain strict confidentiality of CCTV footage and security information. * Follow all security, safety, CCTV, and emergency procedures. * Participate in relevant training and support improvements to surveillance operations. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Security, Environmental Health \& Safety, or a related field. * 1–2 years of experience in CCTV, security monitoring, or a similar role. * Good knowledge of CCTV systems, recording/playback, and surveillance software. * Knowledge of access control and emergency procedures is an advantage. * Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage. * Strong observation, attention to detail, analytical, and decision\-making skills. * Ability to remain focused during extended monitoring periods. * Strong reporting, teamwork, integrity, and confidentiality.
