Keep abreast of regulatory changes and coordinate with Legal team **Date:** 2 Sept 2026 **Location:** KW **Company:** Alghanim Industries Long Description Job Summary The Senior Accountant is a crital part of the Accounting Team and will support all aspects of the accounting and controls function. Job Responsibilities * Review current systems, Assess risks and controls related to processes and support in designing appropriate internal controls to protect company assets. * Handle Independently accounting, compliance and audit of smaller legal entities * Coordinate and support Finance with Information and Analysis * Keep abreast of regulatory changes and coordinate with Legal team and Ministry on compliance to Local laws * Ledger scrutiny and timely reconciliation of accounts Candidate Requirements * Must have graduated in Accounting/Commerce and display good relevant accounting knowledge * A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a multinational environment. * Sound knowledge of accounting and internal controls. * Analytical mind set with good problem solving and presentation skills. * Proficiency in MS office with hands on knowledge on ERP systems * Strong team orientation * Strong communication skills in English, knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage Education
