We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to assist in sourcing, procurement, and inventory management activities specific to the Kuwait market. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing and supplier management within the F\&B industry in Kuwait. **1\. Supplier Management:** · Identify and evaluate local and international suppliers for food ingredients, packaging materials, and other necessary items. · Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods. **2\. Purchase Order Processing:** · Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures. · Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and shipment arrangements. **3\. Inventory Management:** · Monitor inventory levels and stock movements to ensure availability of materials and ingredients while minimizing excess inventory. · Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed. **4\. Cost Analysis:** ·Analyse pricing proposals, quotes, and contracts from suppliers to ensure competitiveness and cost\-effectiveness. · Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement process. **5\. Quality Assurance:** · Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that purchased materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. · Address any quality issues or concerns with suppliers in a timely manner. 6\. **Documentation and Record\-keeping:** · Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and supplier information. · Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations. **7\. Market Research:** · Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, and supplier developments relevant to the F\&B industry in Kuwait. Research new suppliers and products to expand the company's supplier base and product offerings.
