Familiarize with local patent laws and regulations Location\* Kuwait Job Posted May 12, 2026 Handles all the operational functions related to the protection of the clients’ IP rights. Duties/Responsibilities Reviews, prepares and files patent applications; reviews, advises and replies to examination reports; completes registration of application on grant, publication and issuance Prepares cost estimates Monitors deadlines; applies and utilizes guidelines and procedures for prosecution and invoicing; familiarizes oneself with specific client technology(ies) and provides required support Processes patent annuities to maintain their validity Prioritizes and manages multiple patent requests for their submission and follows up to meet various deadlines Prepares and advises local/regional clients on patentability of inventions; prepares patent applications for filing; advises on filing strategy and provides required support Familiarizes oneself with local patent laws and regulations and maintains current knowledge on updates and changes Familiarizes oneself with Saba IP’s electronic management system (IPMS) for docketing, tracking, updating and analyzing filings and portfolios Skills/Qualifications University degree in Engineering, Biochemistry or Pharmacy 0\-2 years of experience in the fiel Kuwaiti resident Very good command of Arabic and English Teamwork skills Flexibility and adaptability Attention to detail Analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office
