Develop skills in electrical systems, drawings, and problem-solving **Job Description** **Position Title:** Jr. Electrical Engineer **Location:** Kuwait **Company:** Loloah Alshaya General Trading \& Contracting Company **Department:** Electrical / MEP **Reporting To:** Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Engineer **Position Overview:** Loloah Alshaya General Trading \& Contracting Company is looking for a motivated and technically capable **Jr. Electrical Engineer** to support the execution, supervision, and coordination of electrical works across construction and MEP projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of electrical systems, site coordination, and technical documentation, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced project environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in supervising electrical installation works including power, lighting, ELV, and low\-current systems. * Review electrical drawings and ensure work execution follows approved specifications and standards. * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines on\-site. * Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and technical documentation. * Support material inspections, quantity take\-offs, and testing activities. * Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues during installation and commissioning stages. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Kuwait authority requirements. * Attend project meetings and provide updates on electrical activities and site progress. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. * 1–3 years of experience in electrical construction or MEP projects. * Basic knowledge of electrical systems, shop drawings, and site coordination. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic electrical design tools. * Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities. * Familiarity with Kuwait electrical standards and regulations is preferred. * Kuwait residency with transferable visa preferred. * Kuwait Engineering Society active membership is required. **Top 5 Essential Skills:** * Electrical Systems Knowledge – Understanding of power, lighting, and ELV systems. * Drawing Interpretation – Ability to read and follow electrical shop drawings and layouts. * Site Coordination – Coordinating effectively with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Technical Documentation – Preparing reports, inspection requests, and project records accurately. * Problem Solving – Identifying and resolving electrical installation issues efficiently. **Job Category:** Engineering \& Construction **Job Sub\-Category:** Electrical Engineering / MEP Engineering **Interview Process:** All applicants will go through the following three\-stage interview process: * HR Round – Overview of the company, role, and initial background screening. * Technical Round – Assessment of electrical engineering fundamentals, drawing interpretation, and project knowledge. * Managerial Round – Final review of communication skills, teamwork, and ability to handle site responsibilities.
