In this role, you will be responsible for the full sterilization cycle — from receiving and cleaning contaminated instruments to assembling, packing, and returning sterile supplies to clinical departments. Your work directly supports patient safety and infection control across the hospital. **What You Will Do** Decontamination \& Cleaning * Receive, record, and sort contaminated instruments and medical devices from all departments * Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments using washer disinfectors, ultrasonic machines, and approved disinfecting solutions * Follow manufacturer instructions and established CSSD procedures at all times Assembly \& Packing * Inspect all instruments for damage and confirm they are fully functional before packing * Assemble instrument trays and device sets using correct packaging materials and * a checklist of contents and place it inside each tray or pack with the sterilization indicator Sterilization \& Quality Checks * Operate and maintain autoclaves and sterilizers safely and correctly * Perform daily sterilizer testing including warm\-up cycles, Bowie Dick tests, and biological spore tests * Document and file all test results for quality assurance records * Check the integrity of all packs, wrappers, and seals after sterilization Infection Control \& Safety * Follow infection control policies in all CSSD areas to prevent cross\-contamination * Adhere to the correct dress code for each area and maintain proper hand hygiene and PPE use * Understand and follow all safety policies including fire drills and MSDS guidelines * Report any missing, damaged, or defective items through the electronic incident reporting system **What We Are Looking For** **Education** Secondary school certificate (minimum) Diploma in Sterile Services or a recognized Sterile Supply Processing Certificate (preferred) **Experience** Minimum **2 years** of hands\-on experience in sterilization or a CSSD environment **Skills \& Knowledge** Practical knowledge of sterilization principles, infection control, and aseptic technique Familiarity with surgical instruments, autoclaves, washer disinfectors, and ultrasonic machines Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Physically able to stand for extended periods **Personal Qualities** High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Reliable, team\-oriented, and able to follow strict protocols Professional and respectful in all working relationships **How to Apply** Send your CV to**: info@humantechi.com** Subject line: CSSD Technician — Kuwait Application \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- *HumanTech International (HTI) is a specialist recruitment consultancy based in Kuwait, connecting qualified healthcare professionals with leading hospitals and medical institutions across the GCC.* Pay: From KD350\.000 per month Work Location: In person
