We are seeking an experienced **Safety Officer** for our 3000HP drilling rigs. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting safe drilling operations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies, standards, and procedures on\-site. * Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on drilling operations. * Organize and lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills. * Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, preparing reports with corrective actions. * Ensure all personnel are trained and aware of safety protocols and emergency procedures. * Maintain safety records and ensure timely reporting to management. * Coordinate with rig management to ensure safe work practices across all operations. **Requirements:** * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Safety Officer in the oil \& gas drilling industry (3000HP rig experience preferred). * NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent HSE certification required. * Strong knowledge of drilling operations safety standards (API, IADC, OHSAS, ISO). * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * Ability to work in rotational/onshore\-offshore assignments. **Employment Terms:** * Rotation: \[Specify rotation – e.g., 28 days on / 28 days off] * **Duty Salary:** 900 KD / month * **Off Duty Salary:** 500 KD / month Job Type: Full\-time Pay: KD500\.000 \- KD900\.000 per month Application Question(s): * What is your visa status? * Can you join immediately? * What is your salary expectation?
