### **Job Description** Kuwait Airways is activity recruiting for "Materials Supplies \& Planning Officer " in the Engineering Department. In this role your responsibilities will include but not limited to: **Basic Function and Scope:** Carries out basic Materials/Logistics functions for Materials Planning related to the procurement of materials to meet Aircraft Maintenance or Workshop spare parts requirements in timely manner. a. Performs data collection from various documents received or raised by Materials. Includes recording them in accordance with system requirements, carrying out review of float or stock situations and conducting requisite follow\-ups in order to achieve primary materials function of right items in the right place at the right time. b. Carries out follow\-up action for unserviceable components, items, tools and equipment until they are received back in serviceable condition with proper documentation in order that stock\-out situations are maintained at minimum. c. Initiates purchasing activities by timely actioning system generated stock action reports, Nil/Not stock requisitions, Material Order Requests (MORs), initiates market research, decides on re\-order quantities so that adequate stock levels are maintained at all times. d.
