The technician plays a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used in infrastructure or building projects. **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct laboratory tests on materials such as concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and other construction materials. * Prepare samples, operate testing equipment, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance. * Record, analyze, and report test results in accordance with project standards and procedures. * Verify that materials delivered to site comply with approved specifications and quality requirements. * Maintain laboratory documentation, logs, and quality control records. * Identify non‑conforming materials and report findings to the engineering and QA/QC teams. * Support field testing activities and coordinate with site teams as required. * Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, and compliance with relevant regulations. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * Diploma or technical qualification in Laboratory Technology, Material Testing, or a related field. * Minimum **10 years of experience** in material testing for infrastructure or building projects. * Strong knowledge of testing procedures, standards, and laboratory equipment. * Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, AASHTO, BS, etc.). * Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical abilities. * Ability to work effectively with engineers, QA/QC teams, and site personnel.
