Job Summary: A Junior SCADA Technician supports the operation and maintenance of SCADA systems for industrial process monitoring and control, ensuring their efficiency and continuity. Supporting the integration of SCADA systems with PLCs and field devices **Junior SCADA Technician** Role Objective: To support the operation and maintenance of SCADA systems used for industrial process monitoring and control, ensuring efficient and continuous operation. Responsibilities: * Assisting in the operation and monitoring of SCADA systems. * Monitoring system performance, identifying faults, and reporting them. * Performing routine maintenance on hardware and software associated with the system. * Supporting the integration of SCADA systems with PLCs and field devices. * Reading and analyzing operational data and preparing reports. * Updating software and systems as required. * Adhering to safety procedures and industrial standards. * Documenting operations and technical configurations. Required Qualifications: * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field. * Basic knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems. * Fundamental understanding of industrial networks and communication protocols. * Familiarity with software such as Wonderware, Siemens SCADA, or Ignition is preferred. Required Skills: * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in an industrial environment. * Good communication skills. * Ability to learn quickly. * Attention to detail and accuracy.
