**Duty Engineer** Are you technically skilled, proactive, and dependable in maintaining hotel operations? We are looking for a **Duty Engineer** who will ensure all engineering systems function efficiently and safely, supporting uninterrupted guest comfort and operational excellence. **A little taste of your day\-to\-day:** Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: * Attending to day\-to\-day engineering maintenance issues across guest rooms and public areas. * Responding promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency calls. * Monitoring and maintaining electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and civil systems. * Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per schedules. * Ensuring proper operation of equipment such as chillers, AHUs, boilers, pumps, and generators. * Coordinating with other departments to minimize operational disruptions. * Maintaining logs, checklists, and records of maintenance work carried out. * Ensuring compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and hotel SOPs. * Supervising contractors and service providers during repair or maintenance works when required. * Supporting energy conservation initiatives and cost\-control measures. **What we need from you:** * Proven experience as a **Duty Engineer or Engineering Technician**, preferably in a hotel or large facility. * Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. * Technical qualification or diploma in Engineering or a related trade. * Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and work independently. * Good communication skills in **English**; **Arabic language will be an advantage**. * Physically fit and able to work in a fast\-paced operational environment. * Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. * Strong sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and teamwork.
