




Summary: Lead Auditor responsible for managing audit processes, reviewing findings, and ensuring the quality and content of audit reports. Highlights: 1. Oversee audit team and communicate progress to clients Lead Auditor ROLES \& RESPONSIBILITIES * Chair opening and closing meetings * Assign to each team member responsibility for auditing specific processes, functions, sites, areas or activities and reassign work as needed * Manage external team representation during the audit process (expert, translator, Accreditation Bodies, …) * Periodically communicate the progress of the audit and any concerns to the client and to the audit team * Review with the client any need for changes to the audit scope which becomes apparent as on\-site auditing activities progress and report this to the back office * Attempt to resolve any diverging opinions between the audit team and the client concerning audit evidence or findings, and record unresolved points * Review the audit findings, and any other appropriate information obtained during the audit, against the audit objectives and audit criteria and classify the nonconformities * Agree upon the audit conclusions, considering the uncertainty inherent in the audit process, any necessary follow\-up actions * Confirm the appropriateness of the audit programme or identify any modification required for future audits (e.g., scope of certification, audit time or dates, surveillance frequency, audit team competence) * Ensure that the audit report is prepared and shall be responsible for its content * Recommends to the Technical Manager initial certification, maintaining of certification, recertification, suspension, withdrawal, or reduction of the scope of certification. AUTHORITIES* Authority for Stop Work if the situation is Unsafe. * Bureau Veritas Certification Lead Auditors have delegated authority for the control and performance of onsite audit, including any planning and review, and the control of other members of audit teams * Lead Auditors are authorized to lead Bureau Veritas Certification Audits and to take those decisions as necessary during Audits DESIRED QUALIFICATION \& EXPERIENCE * Graduate/ Diploma University or similar educational institute * Qualified on any basic QHSE scheme as Lead Auditor and/or one of the complex schemes (on international products/ schemes and which requires external exam to qualify, such as ISO TS 16949, AS 9000, IRIS, TL 9000\) with a minimum of 5 years of Industry and 3 years of Third Party Audit experience OR Combination of any 3 product competencies as Lead Auditor such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 20000, ISO 22000, ISO 27000 with minimum 5 years of Industry and 5 years of Third Party Audit experience DESIRED SKILLS * Good Communication Skills, both in the written and oral form * Be fully conversant with the CER MS requirements related to CQI\-IRCA Training/ BV Certification Audits. * Should be presentable and be a team worker * Ability to analyse and judge
