**About the Role** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive **Accountant** to manage the financial operations of our business in Kuwait. The role spans **retail, wholesale distribution, and e\-commerce platforms**, requiring strong accounting expertise and the ability to streamline financial processes with the help of modern accounting software. **Key Responsibilities** * **Financial Management \& Reporting** * Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date books of accounts for retail, wholesale, and e\-commerce operations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. * Handle reconciliation of bank statements, credit card transactions, and online payment gateways. * **Software \& Systems Implementation** * Set up and configure accounting software (e.g., Tally or equivalent) tailored to our business needs. * Ensure smooth integration of e\-commerce platforms (Shopify, payment gateways, inventory systems) with accounting systems. * Train relevant staff on using the software effectively. * **Compliance \& Controls** * Ensure compliance with Kuwait’s financial regulations, VAT laws, and audit requirements. * Liaise with auditors and prepare necessary reports and documentation. * Implement internal financial controls to minimize errors and risks. * **Business Support** * Provide management with accurate financial insights for decision\-making. * Track profitability across retail outlets, wholesale accounts, and e\-commerce sales channels. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies. **Qualifications \& Skills** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail/wholesale/e\-commerce. * Proficiency in **Tally ERP** (or similar accounting software); ability to set up and customize systems. * Strong knowledge of Kuwait’s tax and VAT regulations. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Attention to detail and ability to work independently. * Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus). **What We Offer** * Competitive salary package. * Growth opportunities within a diversified business group. * Exposure to multi\-channel retail, wholesale, and digital commerce operations.
