Working under pressure and responding quickly to incidents. **Junior Cyber Security Analyst** Role Objective: Protecting the organization's systems and networks from cyber threats through continuous monitoring, risk analysis, and incident response. Responsibilities: * Monitoring systems and networks to detect any abnormal activity. * Analyzing security alerts and responding to incidents (Incident Response). * Implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures. * Conducting vulnerability assessments. * Assisting with penetration testing under team supervision. * Managing security tools such as SIEM systems, firewalls, and antivirus software. * Documenting security incidents and actions taken. * Raising employee awareness of information security fundamentals. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. * Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and networking concepts. * Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS). * Certification such as Security+ or CEH or CySA+ is preferred. Required Skills: * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to incidents. * Good communication skills. * Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
