Ensure that water temperature and detergent quantities are appropriate for cleaning and properly recorded. Assist in setting up banquet dishes. Assist chefs and kitchen team with various tasks as needed. Provide items required by the chefs. Assist during banquets and buffets by transporting items and ensuring adequate supplies. Deliver cleaned items to designated areas. Use and maintain cleaning tools and equipment, including dishwashers, hand sinks, wash tanks, and waste compactors. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, enforcing disciplinary rules, motivating, and mentoring employees. Follow and comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure wearing of clean and complete work uniforms; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times while on duty; respect confidentiality regarding brand- and hotel-specific information and protect all company assets. Welcome and serve guests according to company standards, anticipate and respond to guest needs. Use clear and courteous language in all communications. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; cooperate and support one another to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 23 kilos independently. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving continuously over extended periods. Perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping movements, including kneeling and flexing at the knees. Navigate slippery, uneven, or sloped surfaces. Perform any other duties requested by supervisors that are consistent with the position. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent secondary education. Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
