Has the overall responsibility for the maintenance and management of fire alarm systems. Responsible for development of a maintenance, test and inspection program, compliant with DOD and NFPA regulations. Develop a scope of work required for system repair, maintenance or expansion of alarm systems. Oversee work for system repair, maintenance or expansion, ensuring equipment provided and installed complies with the current NFPA standards and the National Electrical Code. Plans and directs lead alarm technicians work load, performs quality assurance checks providing written reports to fire management. Supervises and documents acceptance testing of fire alarm systems. Coordinates work schedule and requirements with supervisors, schedules appointments for testing repair and maintenance of fire alarm systems with facility custodians.
