Program Development Manager **Volunteer Galapagos** **Location:** Beirut Street, Hawalli, Hawalli Governorate, Kuwait **Salary:** **KWD 1,550 per month** Job Overview Volunteer Galapagos is seeking a passionate, strategic, and highly organized **Program Development Manager** to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of community and volunteer programs. Based in Hawalli, Kuwait, this role is responsible for developing impactful initiatives, building partnerships, managing program performance, and ensuring projects align with the organization's mission and long\-term objectives. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills with a commitment to creating meaningful social impact. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and implement volunteer and community engagement programs aligned with organizational goals. * Conduct needs assessments and identify opportunities for new programs and service initiatives. * Develop program plans, objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance indicators. * Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, corporate partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders. * Monitor program implementation, evaluate outcomes, and recommend improvements to maximize impact. * Lead and mentor program coordinators, volunteers, and project teams. * Prepare grant proposals, funding applications, and program reports for management and external stakeholders. * Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives. * Manage program budgets and ensure efficient use of resources. * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations. * Organize community outreach events, workshops, and awareness campaigns to strengthen engagement and participation. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, project development, nonprofit operations, or community engagement. * Proven experience designing and managing multi\-phase programs and projects. * Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies. * Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. * Experience in volunteer management, fundraising, or grant writing is an advantage. * Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
