We’re looking for a **Commis I – Oriental Pastry** who will assist in preparing and presenting high\-quality traditional and contemporary Oriental desserts, ensuring every creation meets the standards of a world\-class 5\-star hotel. **A little taste of your day\-to\-day:** Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: Preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of Oriental pastries and sweets to the highest quality standards. Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications precisely. Assisting in the development of new dessert items and seasonal menus. Ensuring the pastry kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards. Receiving and storing ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality. Coordinating with the pastry chef and kitchen team for smooth production flow. Maintaining proper stock levels and reporting shortages to the Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef. **What we need from you:** **Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in a 5\-star hotel or luxury pastry kitchen** specializing in Oriental desserts. Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Oriental pastry techniques. Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavor balance. **Position Summary:** We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to manage shipping, logistics, and customs clearing operations for our ingredients supply chain. This role will ensure on\-time delivery, customs compliance, and cost\-effective transportation of critical raw materials to our production facilities in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience in international shipping, import/export processes, and a deep understanding of clearing operations for food \& beverage ingredients.#### **Job Duties Include but Are Not Limited to:** * Planning and coordinating inbound shipping of raw materials. * Managing booking of containers, shipping schedules, and transport arrangements with forwarders. * Monitoring shipment status and providing regular updates to internal stakeholders. * Overseeing cross\-border shipments between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia facilities. * Working with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize transportation costs. * Ensuring timely customs clearance for juice and concentrate shipments at designated ports. * Preparing and reviewing all required import documentation. * Coordinating with clearing agents to resolve issues and avoid delays. * Aligning inbound shipments with production demand and inventory levels. * Collaborating with Procurement and Production teams on shipment priorities. * Supporting inventory tracking for juice concentrates and related raw materials. * Identifying opportunities to reduce shipping lead times, costs, and clearing cycle times. * Tracking and reporting on key shipping and clearing KPIs. * Maintaining strong relationships with shipping lines, clearing agents, and government authorities. #### **Required Qualification:** * **Education:** University graduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any relevant field (required). * **Work Experience:** 3 to 5 years of experience in shipping and clearing operations, ideally within the FMCG, food \& beverage, or ingredients industry. * Solid understanding of international shipping terms and processes. * Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and documentation. * Knowledge of GCC import regulations (experience in Kuwait and/or Saudi Arabia is a plus). * **Language:** Bilingual (Arabic \& English). #### **Required Professional Skills:** * Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities. * Proficiency in ERP and logistics management systems. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast\-paced environment. * Problem\-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement. * Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, forwarders, and clearing agents.
