Coordinate with various teams to ensure drawing accuracy Job Description **2D Visualizer / Draftsman** Job Summary The 2D Visualizer / Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings, lighting layouts, smart home system plans, and shop drawings for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. The role supports the sales, design, and project teams by producing professional CAD drawings and documentation that comply with project specifications, industry standards, and company requirements. **Key Responsibilities** **Technical Drafting** Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software. Produce lighting layouts, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), electrical layouts, and smart home system drawings. Prepare installation drawings, shop drawings, and as\-built drawings. Develop detailed layouts for lighting fixtures, control panels, switches, sensors, and automation devices. Update drawings based on client comments, consultant revisions, and site conditions. **Design Support** Assist Lighting Designers and Smart Home Engineers in converting concepts into technical drawings. Prepare presentation drawings for client proposals and project submissions. Coordinate drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all drawings meet project specifications and applicable standards. **Project Coordination** Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Procurement, and Installation teams to ensure drawing accuracy. Attend project coordination meetings when required. Support site engineers by providing updated drawings and technical documentation. Maintain revision control and proper documentation of all project drawings. **Documentation** Organise and maintain electronic drawing files and project documentation. Ensure drawings are properly labelled, archived, and distributed. Prepare material schedules and drawing indexes when required. Maintain confidentiality of project information and company intellectual property. **Quality Assurance** Verify dimensions and technical accuracy before submission. Ensure drawings comply with local electrical regulations and project requirements. Review consultant and client comments and implement necessary revisions promptly. **Qualifications** Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field. Minimum 2–4 years of drafting experience in lighting, electrical, interior fit\-out, or smart home projects. Experience in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects is an advantage. **Technical Skills** Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential). Knowledge of lighting layout preparation. Understanding of reflected ceiling plans (RCP). Familiarity with electrical and low\-current drawings. Basic understanding of KNX, DALI, smart home automation, or lighting control systems is preferred. Experience using SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Revit is an advantage. Good understanding of construction drawings and technical documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. **Core Competencies** Strong attention to detail.
