Supporting the integration of SCADA systems with PLCs and field devices **Junior SCADA Technician** Role Objective: To support the operation and maintenance of SCADA systems used for industrial process monitoring and control, ensuring efficient and continuous operation. Responsibilities: * Assisting in the operation and monitoring of SCADA systems. * Monitoring system performance, identifying faults, and reporting them. * Performing routine maintenance on hardware and software associated with the system. * Supporting the integration of SCADA systems with PLCs and field devices. * Reading and analyzing operational data and preparing reports. * Updating software and systems as required. * Adhering to safety procedures and industrial standards. * Documenting operations and technical configurations. Required Qualifications: * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field. * Basic knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems. * Fundamental understanding of industrial networks and communication protocols. * Familiarity with software such as Wonderware, Siemens SCADA, or Ignition is preferred. Required Skills: * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in an industrial environment. * Good communication skills. * Ability to learn quickly. * Attention to detail and accuracy.
