Patrol all areas of the hotel; assist guests with room access. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems. Respond to accidents, contact Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or administer first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed. Provide assistance to guests and employees during emergency situations. Notify the appropriate person in case of accidents, assaults or other incidents. Calm disturbances between guests or employees. Request external assistance if necessary. Complete incident reports to document all matters related to Security and Loss Prevention. Resolve safety risk situations. Escort unwanted persons out of the hotel. Report accident scenes or vehicle thefts. Request assistance using appropriate code responses. Complete a daily shift activity report and a summary for Loss Prevention. Maintain confidentiality of all reports and documents; provide information only to authorized personnel. Provide proper documentation to employees requiring external medical treatment. Transcribe, correct and copy security reports. Assist management in training and motivating; serve as an example. Assign work tasks and ensure they are completed on time. Comply with all company security policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications.
