**Job Description** **Position Title:** MEP Engineer **Location:** Kuwait **Company:** Alshaya Al Ahliea General Trading \& Contracting Co. **Department:** Engineering / MEP **Reporting To:** Project Manager / MEP Coordinator **Position Overview:** We are seeking a qualified and experienced **MEP Engineer** to oversee the planning, design coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (specifically Plumbing) for a construction project that our company has recently been awarded. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, hands\-on site supervision experience, and the ability to coordinate MEP systems across multidisciplinary teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage end\-to\-end MEP scope for commercial and infrastructure projects. * Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs for compliance and accuracy. * Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and site teams for seamless execution and post execution inspections. * Supervise MEP installation, testing, and commissioning at site. * Ensure compliance with authority regulations in Kuwait. * Monitor material submittals, technical approvals, and shop drawing workflows. * Handle interface issues between mechanical, electrical, civil, and architectural disciplines. * Prepare and submit project progress reports, inspection logs, and handover documentation. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. * 5–8 years of experience as an MEP Engineer in contracting or consultancy firms. * Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP design review software. * Knowledge of Kuwait construction regulations and safety codes. * Strong project coordination and communication skills. * Valid Kuwait residency and transferable visa preferred. * Not afraid to try something new. **Interview Process:** All applicants will undergo the following three\-stage process: * **HR Round** – Introduction to company culture, background verification, and eligibility check. * **Technical Round** – Assessment of MEP knowledge, project experience, and regulatory understanding. * **Managerial Round** – Review of coordination capabilities, issue resolution experience, and leadership potential.
